“DO YOU HEAR ME?” is a website-based sound project that explores themes of transitional periods of life and reflecting back on forgotten memories. This piece came from a desire to be understood while not quite knowing how to vocally express what I need others to understand. This sound experience is a narrative woven together by imagery and the sound spaces within each page.
The 8 different collages paired with 8 different sound pieces have accompanying entries of poems and dialogue. This project involved a very similar to process to my photobook “NOBODY’S HOME” (2023) and my upcoming short film “HERE” (2026). This piece was highly influenced by early-internet mystery webpages and point-and-click videogames.
