Found in a Box in an Attic (2023), 4x5 analog photographs
Inspired by photos of my great-grandmothers, “Found in a Box in an Attic” is a piece that replicates lost imagery of someone you never got to meet.
Unveiling (2023), 4x5 analog photographs
My process for this piece involved walking around the yard of my grandmother’s home, stopping and examining areas that have deep-rooted memories from my childhood that have now changed and become over-grown as time has gone on.
Birth of a Memory (2022), 35mm analog photographs
Part of this series was also used in the photobook NOBODY’S HOME (2023).
Taken in Warba, Minnesota, “Birth of a Memory” is a reflection piece on childhood memories as I walked through a town with a strong history and great importance to a section of my family.
